Hummus is one of my favorite things to snack on in the afternoon. Is healthy, nutritious and incredibly easy to make. I used to buy it from my local grocery store, but that has too many additives, so I started to make my own. Here’s the recipe:


× 1 can chickpeas
× 2-3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
× 1-2 tsp ground cumin
× 1 tsp lemon juice
× 2-3 garlic cloves (minced)
× 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
× 2 tbsp tahini (optional)

Blend everything until creamy. Yes, it’s that simple! Garnish with fresh parsley, olive oil, cumin seeds and more chickpeas. Enjoy with baby carrots and/or celery sticks!
