Smoothie bowls are perfect or breakfast when I don’t feel like cooking or I want something light so early in the morning. Fruit gives me lots of energy, so I just throw a banana, some berries and a handful of baby spinach in my blender and I’m good to go. However, smoothies can be quite bland if you don’t add some toppings. I like to top mine with some kind of carbs, usually I go for low sugar granola or cereal, some type of fruit like mango, banana slices or berries and a handful of chia, pumpkin and/or flax seeds for some protein. It’s not a heavy breakfast, but it’s definitely filling and insanely delicious.
